Micro-grid

We know that working towards reducing energy consumption to save money and the environment, and that is why we are working on developing one of the country’s first micro-grid developments, which allows homeowners to generate electricity, sell back to the grid, and to their neighbours.

Passive House

The D/RES team was responsible for the innovative award winning, Silken Park scheme, Ireland’s largest passive house scheme, developed in 2017, which has identified us as leaders in sustainability within the construction industry.

Climate change target

All of our new homes are in accordance with the RIAI climate change targets, and we ensure reduced levels of embodied carbon in each of the houses we build. We are also on a mission to create net zero carbon homes in the future, to ensure that we are playing our part to reduce carbon emissions, but to also disrupt and challenge the industry to be more sustainable.

Enduring value, shaping a better future. Enduring value, shaping a better future.

Innovation team

At D/RES, we have a dedicated cross-function innovation team focused on looking for new ways to create sustainably designed homes and development, pushing the boundaries of traditional construction and engineering.

Design philosophy

Our design philosophy is centred around a biophilic design approach. This means, that we want to enhance the existing site ecology, and we use its principles to incorporate natural elements and innovative processes in our designs, with the aim to improve well-being, and to create and overall positive living experience.
